HUES OF BLUEHome of the Champion Sired Blues!!Hues of Blue French Bulldogs would not be possible had it not been for the months and months of ongoing support and education we received from our dedicated (and most breed conscientious) friends Olga Stepanova (kennel Step Lav in Russia) and Sheila Driscol (Driscols Blue Genes in Iowa). I knew very little when I bought my first two Frenchies (one from each), but through my communication with both women, through my admiration for their knowledge and dedication to the breed, I quickly learned to appreciate the true wonder of the French Bulldog and would simply love for others to benefit from their wonder and presence in their lives as I have, as Olga has, and as Sheila has. What started out as what I humorously refer to as my "mid life crisis" (a spending spree on multiple Frenchies -- rather than the more typical red convertible sport coupe) has since evolved into a most rewarding and fulfilling venture in my life. I parallel Frenchies to art: each work unique, each work crafted, and each work different in their own way.
You'd be hard pressed to find two French Bulldogs (particularly along the pied lines) that were very similar. I also greatly value the relations I've made with other French Bulldog enthusiasts. We're a passionate, loving, caring, humorous, ZANY bunch ... and we're quick to identify with each other. Oh ... we're also a little competitive, as well!! I acquired a passion for searching for, and acquiring, some of the best dogs available (starting with temperament) .... dogs that I have the luxury of enjoying, personally, in my life and dogs that will then be able to provide joy to others who may wish to acquire their offspring. My daughter Lily (our official "Kennel Hand") and I, our Nanny, and our additional full-time Frenchie Nanny! live in the historic suburbs of Washington, DC. Close to city life, country life, national attractions, and 3 International Airports (should you decide to come see us!). It's a good life.
