Evita

Evita, pure extravagance she is, carries quite the story behind her.   We purchased her from our good friends Erika and Krisztián at show kennel Smiling Thunder in Hungary.   Evita is daughter of Smiling Thunder Angel (#3 in the World Junior Class in 2003) and  JCH. Utilo du Terroir de Fontfroide (born in France and raised at Janoel and then used by Smokey Valley kennel in their show breeding program for the high quality pups he throws).  Evita, with her magnificent pedigree, produced one litter for Erika & Krisztián.  In that litter of 5 pups, 3 were blue (3 blues produced from 2 brindle parents!).  Erika traded off the 3 blues for to another breeder realizing they were of no use for her (not eligible to show) and of little value to anyone else, being BLUE, that is.  Ha!!   To this day Erika laughs at herself for having made such a trade (being totally uninformed on the demand for blue).   Evita, in one word, is divine.  divine Evita.  You just can't walk by her without stooping down to caress her endearing face.
